There was a time when I wanted to cook fish, meat & chicken for my people at home ... I would just cook and not eat at all. it was just cooking, which gave me a lot of joy.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup dried black chickpeas / Black Chana
1/2 onion, chopped or crushed
1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
1 teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon red chili powder
1 green chilli, finely chopped
½ tbsp ginger paste
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
2 tablespoons of chickpea flour / Besan
salt (as your taste)
Cooking Oil for frying kabobs
DIRECTION:
Soak black chickpeas in water overnight for 6 hours. strain and pressure cook chickpeas with enough water and salt until they are thoroughly cooked. let the pressure to settle in the plate. drained cooked chickpeas now, in a large bowl, add the chickpeas and mash them with a wooden spoon or a blender or your hands.
Just make semi rough mix and not too smooth. add all remaining ingredients and mix well. make into small round cakes or Kababs. small fry over medium kebabs in hot oil until crisp and golden brown on both sides.
You can also bake kabobs with rain oil for a healthy version.
kabobs garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
serve vegetable kabobs with onion-mint salad with lime slices and mint chutney some.
