1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup half
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon vanilla
DIRECTION:
For the crust : Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Crush the biscuits in a food processor or in a sealed plastic bag. Pour the crumbs into a bowl and add the melted butter. Click on the pie pan and bake until golden, about 5 minutes. Let cool completely.
For the filling: Remove the ice cream from the freezer and let it soften slightly. Mix almonds, peanut butter and caramel crispy peanut butter and pour the cream mixture over the crust. Cover with foil and freeze until very hard, 1 to 2 hours.
For the caramel sauce: Combine brown sugar, half and half, butter and salt in a saucepan over medium heat - deep-low. Cook bat while gently until thickened, 6-7 minutes.
