This recipe has a
small change in revenue STROGONOFF meat. I posted earlier, but good a
cup of sour cream and cremini give this recipe a rich flavor.

INGREDIENTS:
2 teaspoons to 1 tablespoon canola oil, divided
1 pound flank steak, sliced
4 large mushrooms, stems, halved and thinly sliced
1 large onion, sliced
3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons flour
1 14 - ounce can reduced-sodium beef broth
2 tablespoons cognac or brandy
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/2 cup reduced-fat sour cream
4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
DIRECTION:
Warm 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet over medium rise heat. Peel the onions, divide it into one-quarter of a circle, move the warmed pan and fry until brown and tender, stir occasionally. Clean and slice mushrooms, add them to the pan, stir and fry. While mushrooms are cooking, slice the meat into thin stripes.
Cook mushrooms with onion juice to dry. Increase the heat and add all the meat in the pan. Stir and fry until all the meat color from each side. Stir in flour then add the bay leaf, cream and season with ground black pepper, cover with a lid, reduce the heat to moderate and cook until meat is tender.
